Social Decoder ("we", "us") is a digital agency and software company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use this website, contact us or use our project builder.

2. What we collect
- Enquiry details. Your name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number, chosen service, budget range and the message you write, when you send a form.
- Project builder text. The idea you type is processed in your browser to show a plan. It is only sent to us if you choose to submit the form below the plan.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
- Messages you send us. If you contact us on WhatsApp or email, we keep that conversation.
3. How we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and run demos.
- To deliver the services and software you ask for, and to manage billing.
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam or abuse.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
4. Our basis for using it
We use your data where you have given consent (for example by submitting a form), where it is needed to take steps toward or perform a contract with you, or where we have a legitimate interest that does not override your rights, in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other applicable laws.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and business, such as our web hosting and email providers, and with authorities where the law requires it. These providers may process data on servers outside the UAE.
6. Third-party services
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google servers and your IP address is shared with Google. Buttons that open WhatsApp take you to WhatsApp, which is governed by its own privacy policy.
7. Cookies and local storage
We currently use only essential technologies: a session cookie set when you submit a form (used to limit repeated submissions), and a small entry in your browser storage that remembers that you have seen our cookie notice. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies at this time. If we add them in future, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
8. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up, normally up to 24 months. We keep client and billing records for as long as required by law and for the duration of our relationship with you.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
You may ask us to give you access to your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email us at info@socialdecoder.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can also complain to the relevant data protection authority in the UAE.
11. Children
This website is not directed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
